2.3 Turbo Ford Alternator Relocate Kit

Moves the stock alternator over to the passenger side where the AC compressor typically resides.  Move the alt to a lower center of gravity which is always good but more importantly move the alt out of the way so you can easily install a rotated intake for ease of intercooler plumbing as shown in the pics below.

This is the the complete brakcet and hardware kit, you use your stock alternator and your stock pivot bolt (bracket is threaded to accept the stock long pivot bolt, all the other hardware you need is included.

No more pry bar for tensioning the belt! Threaded adjuster turns easily, then you tighten the locknut down behind it and your done - makes belt tensioning an EASY one man job.

Pictures show the kit installed in my XR4Ti, and great results, the "less contact than stock" water pump pulley contact is not an issue at all when you can get precise tension on the belt now, it spins the WP pulley like a top, no issues at all.

This set-up exactly as shown uses Dayco Belt # 15600.
